Steel Body Products

DIAMANT engineered steel body PDC drilling bits provide optimized cutting structure to drill very soft to medium and hard formations efficiently.

Owing to its steel body features, these products offer high blade stand-off and greater open face volume to improve penetration rate potentials as well as better impact loading resistance to drill through the interbedded formations effectively.

Size range offered are from 3-7/8” to 28” with application specific blade counts and cutter sizes.

Matrix Body Products

DIAMANT’s matrix body PDC bits present superior resistance to erosion in  drilling environments where abrasive formations are drilled and/or drilling fluid contains high solids content.

All DIAMANT matrix body PDC bits are designed with optimized cutting structures and hydraulic features that are tailored for the requirements of challenges of specific drilling conditions.

Size range offered are from 3-7/8” to 17-1/2” with application specific blade counts and cutter sizes.

MicroCORE® Products

DIAMANT’s MicroCORE® products ensure efficient utilization of available mechanical energy on their cutting action, thus provide up to 30% penetration rate (ROP) improvements over conventional PDC bits.

In addition to their superior ROP potentials, the MicroCORE® bits produce good quality formation cuttings (micro-cores) for geological studies which an inherent deficiency for the conventional PDC bits.

Depending on the unique requirement of the drilling environment, the MicroCORE® PDC bits can be designed with specific "micro-core" size and manufactured in steel or matrix body types.

StormEYE® Products

DIAMANT’s StormEYE® PDC bits are engineered to further optimize PDC bit performances in  "soft" to "medium" hard formations.

Capitalizing on "no center" effect cutting action and  offering strategically positioned shaped cutters on the cutting structure, along with blade geometry and hydraulics design improvements, StormEYE® products push the limits of penetration rate potentials (ROP) even higher in intended lithologies.

DIAMANT’s matrix body PDC bits present superior resistance to erosion in  drilling environments where abrasive formations are drilled and/or drilling fluid contains high solids content.

Impregnated components in the matrix body provides additional durability and rock removal mechanism in very abrasive formations.

DIAMANT Hybrid body PDC bits are designed with optimized cutting structures and hydraulic features that are tailored for the requirements of challenges of specific drilling conditions.

Size range offered are from 3-7/8” to 17-1/2” with application specific blade counts and cutter sizes.

Hybrid Bits - PEXUS

We offer PEXUS™ Hybrid bits from Shear Bits through a license agreement in place between both companies.

PEXUS™ technology combines the "gouging" cutting action provided by Roller Cone bits and "shearing" cutting action provided by PDC bits into one product.

PEXUS™ products are developed to address the weaknesses of conventional products. The result is a drill bit technology that increases the penetration rates while mitigating the risk of premature failures.

PEXUS™ technology enables the operators to effectively drill through formations that are commonly accepted as destructive to PDC cutters (i.e. conglomerates, chert, pyrite).

Size range offered are from 3-7/8” to 24” with application specific blade counts and cutter sizes.
